KR18 Standing Seam Roof Sheet Roll Forming Machine With Trailer Shipped to Costa Rica

25 Feb

Today, we successfully shipped the KR18 Standing Seam Roof Sheet Roll Forming Machine to our valued client in Costa Rica. The entire order was carefully packed into a single 40GP container, ensuring safe and secure transportation from our facility to the client’s location. This milestone marks another step in our commitment to providing innovative and efficient solutions for roofing applications worldwide.

The KR18 Standing Seam Roof Sheet Roll Forming Machine is a hydraulically driven system, designed to deliver precision, speed, and convenience. To address the challenges of inconsistent electricity supply at some job sites, we equipped this machine with a reliable Honda gasoline engine. With this setup, our client can operate the machine immediately without worrying about power availability. Simply refuel with gasoline, and the KR18 is ready to run efficiently on-site. This feature provides unmatched flexibility for clients working in areas where electricity is not readily accessible.

In addition to its hydraulic system, the KR18 features a Siemens PLC and touchscreen interface, enabling automated and highly accurate roof sheet cutting. Traditional manual hydraulic lever systems often suffer from inconsistencies and require careful measurement for each cut. The KR18 eliminates these issues, automatically cutting roof sheets to precise lengths without the need for manual intervention. This results in significant time savings and improved product quality.

To further meet the client’s operational requirements, we supplied the KR18 with a custom trailer. The trailer allows the machine to be easily transported directly to the job site. Moreover, the machine can be securely bolted to the trailer or detached as needed. This means it can operate either on the ground or elevated to the roof, providing maximum flexibility for installation. The trailer-mounted design is especially beneficial for contractors who frequently move between sites, as it minimizes downtime and simplifies setup.

Installation of KR18 standing seam roof sheets requires metal clips to secure the sheets in place. For these clips, we typically recommend our fully automated Clip Roll Forming Machine, which can produce clips efficiently with minimal labor. This machine ensures high productivity, reduced manual effort, and the potential to even sell finished clips to other contractors. However, understanding that some clients have budget limitations, we also offer a manual alternative.

In this case, the Costa Rican client opted for the manual solution. To accommodate this, we provided a 3-meter manual bending machine along with a 110V single-phase hydraulic cutting machine. The manual bending machine allows the client to form clip shapes by hand, while the hydraulic cutter enables precise cutting into smaller pieces. Although this method is more labor-intensive and slower compared to the automatic process, it is highly cost-effective and perfectly aligns with the client’s project plan and budget constraints.

By combining advanced hydraulic technology, automated control systems, and flexible delivery options, the KR18 Standing Seam Roof Sheet Roll Forming Machine provides a comprehensive solution for roofing projects of all scales. This shipment reflects our ongoing commitment to providing practical, high-quality solutions tailored to each client’s unique requirements.

The delivery of this KR18 machine to Costa Rica demonstrates our ability to adapt to various working environments and client needs, offering reliable solutions that maximize efficiency while remaining cost-effective. Our team remains dedicated to ensuring clients receive full support, from machine selection to on-site operation.

With its combination of hydraulic power, automated controls, and trailer mobility, the KR18 continues to set a benchmark in roof sheet roll forming technology. We look forward to supporting our Costa Rican client in achieving faster, more precise roof installations while providing flexible, budget-conscious solutions for their projects.
